Specifications include, but are not limited to: MnDOT requests proposals for the construction of TH 29 through the City of Alexandria as State Project (SP) 2102-69. The project limits are generally between 8th Avenue and TH 94. The project will include full width reconstruction from 8th Ave to 18th Ave. The reconstruction work will include utility replacement (City utilities by others), lighting, signal replacement (and possible relocation), ADA and TMS(fiber optic). Signal replacement and ADA will be from 8th Ave to 44th Ave. From 7th Ave to TH 94 will include TMS (fiber optic). The purpose of this contract is to develop a complete plan set from predesign, through design and into construction. This project will be a complete streets project that will incorporate materials/geotechnical, public engagement, surveys, environmental documentation, predesign, hydraulic analysis, detail design, ADA, traffic, signals, TMS(fiber optic) and be available for construction assistance.
