Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Farmington recently received a STEAP Grant to install a small splash park and four pickleball courts at the newly established Westwoods Recreation Complex, located on the Westwoods Golf Course property at 14 Westwoods Drive. The grant also includes funds for a 40’ x 40’ building/outdoor structure that will house bathrooms, changing rooms, storage, and mechanical equipment for the Splash Park. The Town of Farmington is soliciting bids for a prefabricated outdoor structure. The bid is only for the structure, which must include the doors and windows. It will be the responsibility of the successful bidder to supply all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to complete the work as specified herein. The structure may be pre-fabricated or erected on site. It shall be 40 feet wide, 40 feet long, and 10 feet in height at the eaves with a gabled roof able to withstand a minimum accumulation of 36 inches of heavy snow. The wall height shall be 8’with 2’x 6’construction. Exterior finish: vinyl siding, color: blue. Windows: 2 - 400 Series Anderson Windows (2’ x 3’), 10 - 31.75 in x 13.75 in x 3 in Jamb Tilting Vinyl Window Doors: 5 metal doors, 3-0, 6-8 Garage Door: an 8’ x 8’ framed opening with garage door closure Gutters: Building shall have 4” gutters Roof: 30 year asphalt shingles color: black. Roof framing: Truss system to clear 40 ft. span. Foundation: The foundation will be provided by the Town of Farmington.
