Specifications include, but are not limited to: Item No. 1: Mobilization – Access, Staging of Equipment, Purchase of Product, Materials, Furnishings, and Security of Site. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, materials, and equipment required to accomplish tasks in preparation for the described scope of work submitted by the Contractor and approved by the Project Manager. This item shall be paid for on a lump sum basis with half of this item paid at the beginning of the project and half paid at the end of the project. Item No. 2: Remove & Dispose of Existing Backstops, Dugouts, and Dugout Floors. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, equipment, materials necessary to remove and dispose existing backstops, dugouts, dugout floors. Disposal under this item includes any disposal fees. This item shall be measured and paid on a lump sum basis. Item No. 3: Excavate for, and Install Backstop Posts, Extension Fence Posts, Dugout Termination Posts, and Prep for Concrete Mow Strips. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, equipment, materials, and quality control testing and field inspections necessary to excavate to the specified depth as indicated in the engineering drawings. This item shall be measured and paid on a lump sum basis. Payment approval based on completed and acceptance in writing by the Project Manager. Item No. 4: Form and Construct Concrete Mow Strip and Dugout Floors. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, equipment, materials, quality control testing and field inspections necessary to form and construct mow strips and team dugout floors for each infield. Mow strips and dugout floor cement shall be mixed and poured in accordance with City standards and protected from inclement weather and cold temperatures. This item shall be measured and paid on a lump sum basis. Item No. 5: Installation of New Backstops with 4 ft. Chain Link Overhang. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install new backstops and the 4 ft. chain link overhang at the top of each backstop. This item shall be measured and paid on a lump sum basis as accepted in writing by the Project Manager. Item No. 6: Installation of New 8 ft. High Chain Link Dugouts. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install new chain link dugouts in accordance with engineering drawings for the dugouts. This item shall be measured and paid on a lump sum basis as accepted in writing by the Project Manager. Item No. 7: Installation of 6 ft. High Chain Link Extension Fence & Dugout Terminations. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install new chain link extension fence and dugout terminations. This item shall be measured and paid on a lump sum basis as accepted in writing by the Project Manager. Item No. 8: Install New Dugout Team Bench in Each Dugout. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install a new team bench in each dugout. This item shall be installed in accordance with specifications and engineering drawings for this project. This item shall be measured and paid on a lump sum basis as accepted in writing by the Project Manager. Item No. 9: Backfill, Restore, Revegetate Disturbed Areas in Project Work Site, Clean and Remove Construction Debris Unsafe for Public Accessibility. The unit price to be paid for this item shall be considered compensation in full for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to achieve acceptance from the Project Manager in order to schedule a punch list inspection and final acceptance of the project. This item shall be measured and paid on a lump sum basis upon final acceptance of the project in writing by the Owner.
