Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposal should contain detailed information containing the contractor’s proposed schedule and order of work, as well as pricing, all in a manner that meets or exceeds the following minimum requirements and specifications. Contractor is responsible for: • Sign fabrication for 29 signs. • Paint and repair existing sign poles. • Pole fabrication and installation where needed. • New sign installation. a) Provide a cost comparison of post rejuvenation versus post replacement. If the existing posts and concrete footings are intact and solid, provide the cost to paint/repair the existing posts onsite. a. 4-inch square posts for the 36”x65” signs (25 total) b. 6-inch square posts for the 72”x126” signs (4 total) b) If sign posts are not useable, provide the cost per post to excavate and install new posts. c) Provide cost to replace the existing sign panels with aluminum composite panels, direct printed graphics and UV laminate. a. Current panels are 1/8” aluminum, painted second surface with first surface painted full coverage vinyl decals. b. White reflective vinyl arrows and copy to be applied over the decals. c. Determine paint color. d. Digital art will be supplied by the City. e. Panels will mount to poles with vertical brackets consisting of two 2-inch aluminum angle strips, welded to the panel backs and screw mounted to the poles. f. Provide cost for annual inspection of signs.
