Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of expanding the existing standby generator backup system at the Clinton County Administrative Building. The project consists of adding two additional transfer switches as well as various other electrical infrastructure and equipment as shown on project drawings. At the completion of this project ALL electrical systems within the building will be connected to the standby generator for energization when utility power is lost. A generator load shed scheme is included as part of this project to shed the loads added as part of this project if total generator load is above an adjustable, single setpoint, initially set at 90%. This will ensure existing emergency standby (NEC 700) and legally required standby (NEC 701) loads will continue to be energized and that the generator will not be overloaded.
