Specifications include, but are not limited to: At Central Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, at the front entrance area to the building, there are two exterior metal doors and two interior metal doors that must be removed and replaced with new doors. Additional information on the project is listed below. 1.1 The contractor must meet or exceed the below listed requirements or equal: 1.1.1 Main Entry Doors 1.1.1.1 Main entry doors must be wide stile aluminum doors. Doors must measure approximately 72” x 84”. Each existing door frame with double doors is approximately 72” wide by 84” high. It will be the vendor’s responsibility pre-bid meeting. 1.1.1.2 Main entry doors must be dark bronze anodized finish. 1.1.1.3 Main entry doors must come with 10” bottom rails and continuous geared hinges. 1.1.1.4 Main entry doors must have concealed vertical rod panic devices with exterior keyed alike cylinders. 1.1.1.5 Main entry doors must have a maximum of 1” diameter pull handles. Glass stops must be a minimum of ¼”. 1.1.1.6 Main entry doors must have ADA compliant door closures. 1.1.1.7 Main entry doors must have exterior doors that are a minimum of ¼” gray tempered door lites and interior doors that are a minimum of ¼” clear tempered door lites. 1.1.1.8 Main entry doors must have 6’ aluminum thresholds. 1.1.1.9 Main entry doors must come with Weatherstripping and Sweeps. 1.1.1.10 The inside of the Front entrance doors, The door frames are rusted and corroded at the bottom areas, The contractor must repair the rusted areas.
