Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide flood mitigation for the protection of the Public Works Building from sources of water damage documented from Hurricane Harvey. Demolish the existing flood door and install a full-height submarine flood door between the basement of the Public Works Building and the Tranquility Park Garage. Demolish and infill MEP and communications connections between the Public Works Building mechanical room and Tranquility Park Garage. Seal the existing B1 level utility trough install a new trench drain below the existing pavers at street level, and tie into the existing stormwater drainage system. Reseal existing glass curtainwall at Garden Level. Install a trench drain in the public walkway on the B1 level to capture runoff, and connect the trench drain to existing drainage basins in the B1 courtyard. Install a concrete curb within the mechanical room to direct the water to the courtyard drains and replace the existing sump pump and control panel in the mechanical room. Inspect and replace rotted storm drain pipes. Install flood damage resistant flooring, walls, and doors as specified in B1 and B2 basement levels.
