Specifications include, but are not limited to: Conduct community engagement activities related to its update of its Transportation System Plan (Project). Proposals should respond to how the Consultant will complete the tasks and deliverables identified in the scope of work including cost breakdown for each task. Two separate contracts will guide the update to Beaverton’s Transportation System Plan, one specific to Community Engagement and another specific to system analysis, scenario development, and financial feasibility. The latter, funded partially through an Oregon Transportation Growth Management Grant, will be solicited through the Oregon Department of Transportation’s procurement process and agreed to through an intergovernmental agreement between the Oregon Department of Transportation and the City of Beaverton. For this community engagement contract, the consultant will enter into an agreement directly with the City and will work collaboratively with the City, ODOT, and the consultant team selected through the TGM process for the duration of the project. Additionally, the City intends to contract directly for specialized community engagement services with consultants who have expertise in facilitating playbased, visioning, model building workshops and community-based communications training. The Department of Land Conservation and Development is providing grant funding to support funding of these specialized community engagement activities.
