Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Meet LSOHC Grant Deliverables – The county seeks to meet the restoration and enhancement goals proposed within the LSOHC grant timeline with the support and guidance of an experienced consultant. • Comply with the Conservation Easement and Stewardship Plans - The county seeks recommendations for restoration and enhancement activities to be implemented that are compliant with the allowances and restrictions of the Conservation Easement and Stewardship Plan for each property. • Develop Stewardship Action Plans Grounded in Best Natural Systems Practices – The selected Consultant will work with the County to clearly articulate potential project concepts and goals in alignment with best natural systems practices, including establishment of performance measures aligned with the goals of the Land and Water Legacy Referendum language to determine the level of implementation success within the current capacity of county staff. The county is most interested in removal solutions that will not detract from soil, water, and human health. • Effectively Implement Stewardship Action Plans to Facilitate a Long-Term Positive Impact on Natural Systems Quality – The proposed scope seeks the most effective long-term solutions for the restoration and enhancement of the selected parcels. • • Engage County Stakeholders – The effort requires engagement and buy-in from key stakeholders including but not limited to the Washington County Board of Commissioners, the City of Woodbury, Washington County Parks and Open Space Commission (POSC) and Washington County department staff, including staff from Administration and Public Works. Communication and presentation tasks will primarily be conducted by County staff, but the selected Consultant will be required to attend, present or assist.
