Specifications include, but are not limited to:B. SCOPE OF WORK The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) is seeking bids for the purchase of two (2) Type 1 Ambulances. The supplier should submit pricing as requested on the bid proposal form. Depending upon cost and specific needs, UMMC will purchase two (2) ambulances from one supplier with the following configurations: • Type 1 Ambulance for Single Patient • Type 1 Ambulance for Multiple Patients. 1.1. Ambulances and Critical Care Trucks must conform to “Star of Life” KKK-A-1822F standards as specified by the United States General Services Administration. Bidder shall furnish an authenticated certification and label stating that the ambulance and equipment comply with the “Star of Life” standards and specifications. 1.2. All vehicles must conform to the Mississippi Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services Rules and Regulations.
