Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vic Trace Reservoir Replacement Project (Project) will replace a 10-million-gallon drinking water storage tank with the intent to improve operational flexibility and maintain critical drinking water storage for the community. The Project was recommended in the City’s Water Distribution Infrastructure Plan (WDIP) as a critical upcoming capital improvement project due to its age, increasing repair needs, and its importance to the City’s overall storage portfolio. The City’s Public Works Department is seeking engineering design services to design the tank replacement, onsite demolition and grading, relocations of influent and effluent pipelines and a pressure reducing station, and possibly the design of renewable energy production and other beneficial uses of the site as determined during the preliminary design process. The Project is expected to be approximately five to seven years from planning through construction and is currently in the planning phase. Conformance to the Project schedule and ability to complete the project in a timely manner are of upmost importance to the City.
