Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bid must meet or exceed specifications: Provide durable, corrections grade mattresses (with and without integral pillow), replacement mattress covers, and pillows to various correctional facilities throughout Alaska. Mattress and Replacement Cover Sizes: * 25”W x 75”L x 4”H * 30”W x 75”L x 4”H * 36”W x 75”L x 4”H * 36”W x 80”L x 4”H Mattress and replacement cover sizes vary by facility (see Bid Schedule for size sheet.) Core and Construction: Must meet or exceed Title 16 CFR Part 1632 and 1633 flammability requirements. Antimicrobial, flameresistant, dense fiber core or foam core, vinyl laminate (or equal), and sealed seams. The seams must be 100% welded or sealed together, not stitched or zippered. Must meet or exceed seam strength testing ASTM D5034- 09, American Standards Test Method for Breaking Strength and Elongation of Textile Fabrics. Bidders to provide with their submittal information showing their product conforms to these specifications.
