Specifications include, but are not limited to: Items of work specifically included for Site No. 1 are: • Excavation, installation, and backfill of 1” type K copper water service with tap into MDC water main, including curb stop, per details, all permits and tapping fees from MDC and bituminous pavement repair. • Excavation, installation, and backfill of water meter enclosure, irrigation control vault, irrigation equipment boxes, and all related equipment. • Verification of existing static pressure • New jumbo valve box with two (2) 1” drip valve assemblies including new wire from existing controller enclosure. Zone 1 serving four (4) trees to the north shall be 0.6 GPM, Zone 2 serving six (6) trees to the south shall be 2.4 GPM. • Irrigation pipe, couplings, valves, and spigots installed within High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sleeves and irrigation handholes throughout the project area. • Installation of ten (10) tree drip loop rings providing 0.4 GPM per ring with all tubing, fittings, and accessories as needed. • Installation of a 10” round valve box at each tree pit with ¾” hose bib, ½” ball valve for feed to the tree drip loop rings. • Backflow prevention device with blow-off, enclosure, and concrete mounting pad • Disconnection of existing water service from basement of #2341 Main Street serving existing irrigation system. Removal / abandonment of existing backflow preventer once new irrigation system is operational. • Integration of existing irrigation system serving “Love Garden” area into new irrigation system. • Winterization and re-energizing the irrigation system for the first winter period. • Any required maintenance during the guarantee period • Record Drawings Items of work specifically included for Site No. 2 are: • Removal and replacement of irrigation tubing and 7 sprinkler heads along the frontage of Center Green (east side of Main Street) between station 17+00 and 19+00 to accommodate roadway widening and relocation of existing sidewalk.
