Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. On Interstate 5 in the southbound direction at exit MP 238, contractor shall install 650’ LF of “Type CL-6” (6’ chain link fencing, see detail RD815). The new fence location will be provided by the agency prior to fence installation. The installation of this fencing is intended to secure the existing stockpile site at the SB off/on ramp. This location also requires the installation of two logger style triangular steel 16’ gates as shown in Section 7 Photos - Figure 3. Existing boulders at the site will be removed by the Agency and will need a minimum 48 hours’ notice before the Contractor is on site to begin work. 2. On Interstate 5 in the southbound direction from the 238 on ramp to the 237 off ramp, contractor shall install 2,800’ LF of “Type 2 Barbed and Woven Wire Fence” (See detail RD810) to replace the existing. The existing fence line will need to be removed; the new fence will be installed in place of the existing. 3. Incidental to the work performed of removing/installing fence, the removal of brush along fence line is necessary to install new fence. The contractor is responsible for removing the brush/vegetation debris and hauling off/disposing the materials. 4. The actual quantity included in the awarded Contract will be based on the accepted Bid price and ODOT’s available budget for this project.
