Specifications include, but are not limited to: Miscellaneous rough carpentry will consist of removing the existing exterior windows and replacing the exterior windows with thermal, aluminum-fixed exterior windows and a tilt exterior window with Low-E insulated glass. Windows will conform to the existing building structure. Scrape and repaint steel lintels above windows being replaced. Contractors will be responsible for a turnkey project, which consists of removing and replacing all windows, providing a dumpster, discarding existing debris, and old windows. In addition, contractors will be responsible for all repairs to the interior and exterior walls affected by the replacement of the windows and the removal of old material. Repairs to drywall, paint repairs to interior walls, and brick on exterior walls, along with installation of appropriate sealants, etc. is the contractor's responsibility. A working barrier with plastic sheeting that will be sealed, will be required by the contractor from floor to ceiling, to protect interior furnishings, flooring, and fixtures. Successful bidder/contractor will provide a cost-efficient solution to the county for the replacement of the current windows and infrastructure.
