Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall complete 93 acres of prescribed fire on the areas labeled in Exhibit A. The entire area is to be burned. Contractor is responsible for establishing firebreaks and shall provide an approved burn plan to the DNR Project Manager prior to commencing the burn. Contractor shall adhere to any local or state burn ban. Contractor shall provide notice of the burns according to the following requirements: ● Written notification to the immediate Environmental Service Division (ESD) Field Office of the DNR, Woodbury County Communications, adjacent landowners, and all smoke sensitive sites in the area 30 days prior to the planned date of the prescribed burn. ● Written and verbal notification of the approved prescribed burn to the immediate Environmental Service Division (ESD) Field Office of the DNR, Woodbury County Communications, adjacent landowners, and all smoke sensitive sites a minimum of 24 hours prior to the prescribed burn. ● Verbal notification to Cherokee County Communications immediately prior to the prescribed burn.
