Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Respondent (Contractor) shall furnish all materials and labor for the detailed design and installation of a complete System(s). The Contractor shall be responsible for the review and being in complete compliance with these specification sections. The building drawings and specifications define the scope of work for the project. The conceptual drawings are intended to be schematic only, and the Contractor’s responsibilities are defined herein. Where conflicts occur between the specifications and conceptual drawings, the Respondent is instructed to request clarification prior to submitting a proposal. Should a conflict occur, in general, the specifications will overrule the conceptual drawings. The work shall be subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Construction Contract, agreement between the Contractor and the City. All applicable fees, taxes, and permit costs for all work contained in this specification section shall be included in this Contractor's base price. All work shall be performed in accordance with these specifications with good engineering and installation practices. Modifications to these specifications will NOT be accepted without the expressed written approval of the City, or City’s Representative (Ron Sievwright), and/or the City’s Insurance Carrier. It is the Contractor's responsibility to document the required approvals of any such modifications prior to the execution of work. The Contractor shall field verify all site conditions and information contained in the conceptual drawings and is responsible for the complete design and installation of the System(s) in accordance with the specifications. The conceptual drawings may not show all information necessary for the installation of the System(s) but are intended to assist the Contractor by providing a visual representation of the proposed scope of work for the purpose of preparing a proposal. The conceptual drawings indicate the following: 1. Approximate pipe routing and sizes of the existing water, sewer, and natural gas piping and electrical circuit locations. 2. Building layout, size, and general dimensions. There shall be no impairments to any of the adjoining building System(s) in any way due to the work provided for in this specification.
