TRAINFO provides an end-to-end solution that collects and analyzes rail crossing blockage and vehicle travel time data, accurately estimates traffic delay due to blocked rail crossings, and provides this information to motorists in real-time. TRAINFO's proprietary train detection sensors (which are the only sensors designed specifically for this purpose in the market) are installed next to rail crossings and wirelessly transmit data to a cloud-based server. TRAINFO's algorithms (for which there is a provisional patent) predict the blockage duration and predict the traffic delay due to trains. TRAINFO is the only rail crossing blockage information vendor that is integrated into roadside message sign vendors software systems which facilitates seamless transmission of traffic delay information into these signs. TRAINFO is the only vendor that can detect trains using acoustic features which includes the horn, the bells, and the track vibrations as the train approaches.
