Specifications include, but are not limited to: approximately 96,200 gross square feet of new building construction, site development, parking areas, drives and infrastructure improvements. The building will consist of educational spaces to accommodate technical college academic programs and required support spaces. Spaces will include, but not limited to, both high and standard ceiling height laboratories, classrooms, covered storage, faculty, staff, and student support spaces. Laboratories will be designed to simulate a work environment for the practical applications of instruction and skill. The final phase will include demolition of vacated buildings, abandoned utilities, and adaptation of this space for parking, pedestrian walks, and green space.
