Specifications include, but are not limited to: The lead organization will coordinate and manage the collective of CBO’s to inform ideas through forums and convenings to develop a proposal of an array of services that would provide culturally responsive, specific, and individualized supports to youth experiencing placement disruption or those at risk of placement disruption or removal from home, with an emphasis on children and youth of color. This array of services will be informed by a network of many types of providers that work together to serve children, youth and families in their local communities. The intent of the proposal is to identify an array of services that would be performed by a network of many types of providers that work together to serve children, youth and families in their local communities as a collective response. By pooling providers’ collective knowledge, community relationships, funding, and other resources, CBOs can take a holistic approach to preventing youth from further engagement with the child welfare system, remain in their communities and with their families, preventing placement disruption and have healthy and thriving lives.
