Specifications include, but are not limited to: Successful proposer must provide the following services: Recycling collection at the locations and frequencies listed in Exhibit A. Conduct all residence hall pick-up after 8:00 AM and before 11:00 PM. Provide ninety-two (92) rear-load dumpsters compatible with University’s trunnion lift system throughout main Eugene campus and surrounding University housing. Rear-load dumpsters must meet the following specifications: New or refurbished to “as new condition” prior to placement University campus. All painted the same color and clearly marked with Proposer’s name. Be maintained in good repair throughout the term of the contract. Made available for University’s inspection while on campus. Provide annual cleaning and painting of dumpsters. Be responsible for keeping dumpsters clean and free of odor. Repairs performed promptly when issues are reported by University’s representative; all repairs or replacement of dumpsters must take no more than five (5) business days. All rear-load cardboard dumpsters must be equipped with a trunnion lift system for dumping the cardboard dumpsters. All rear-load cardboard dumpsters will be marked with the following signs: “Cardboard Only” “No Trash” “Flatten Boxes”. Old Corrugated Cardboard recycling dumpsters must be either three (3) or two (2) cubic yard dumpsters with a functioning lid. Provide eleven (11) cardboard half cubic yard tilt trucks and two (2) ninety-five-gallon (95 gal.) roll-carts to the locations specified in Exhibit A. Tilt trucks must have four (4) functioning wheels and roll-carts must have two (2) functioning wheels, be in good working condition and display a “Cardboard Only” sign on at least two (2) sides of each piece of equipment. Provide ten (10) Gaylord boxes for collecting hard backed books at the locations specified in Exhibit A. Provide vertical cardboard balers in numbers and locations at no expense to University. Total number to be determined. Install balers and train University site managers on use of balers. Coordinate all preventative maintenance (greasing, hydraulic oil replacement and cleaning of equipment) as well as any major repairs of balers. Collect all baled carboard generated from by balers; successful Proposer would keep all revenue generated from the sale of the baled cardboard. Report overflow at pick-up sites. Conduct additional pick-ups during University move-in and move-out dates. Capable of replacing broken or malfunctioning vehicles or equipment within 24-hours of University’s notice. Purchase from University recyclable materials generated at the locations set forth in Exhibit A with the estimated quantities listed therein that conform to the specifications described in the most recently published ISRI Scrap Specifications Circular. Purchase price will be based on the Fair Market Value of the materials as quoted by the successful Proposer on a monthly basis. Maintain a facility capable of receiving recyclables within 10 miles of University’s Eugene campus. Monthly billing and payment structure.
