Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Clean and lightly lubricate all track running surfaces. • Check trolleys for any sign of abnormal wear or breakage. • Check for out-of-plumb panels. Correct by adjusting to the plumb and tightening the jamb nut. • Check any exposed bolts in the panel's vertical edges- tighten if required. • Check all hinges, lubricate, and tighten if required. • Check track alignment at all joints and intersections—correct if possible. • Check and adjust the lever jamb closure. • Check all top and bottom seals for proper operation and adjust as required. • Inspect the operation (opening and retraction). • Inspect welds for stress cracks. • Inspect metal components for signs of possible metal fatigue. • Inspect for track obstruction misalignment & and excessive wear. • Inspect and check for loose and missing fasteners. • Inspect power operation, check bearings for excessive wear, and check limit switches wiring harnesses, and connections. • Identify any structural damage or degradation that could compromise safety.
