Specifications include, but are not limited to: A.2. The Contractor shall: a. conduct inspections of work in West Tennessee performed by contractors licensed by the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors (the “Board”) in accordance with all applicable statutes, rules, and regulations of the State of Tennessee, and instructions of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce and Insurance, or his/her authorized agent(s); b. perform inspections within seven (7) working days of the date the inspection is requested by the Board; and c. create an inspection report detailing the Contractor’s observations and opinion of the work performed or overseen by a licensed contractor, including an opinion as to whether such work was performed in an incompetent or grossly negligent manner. A.3. The Contractor shall create and submit all inspection reports specified in Section A.2.c. within thirty (30) days from the date of inspection. The inspection reports must be completed in a form specified by the attorney for the Board. A.4. The Contractor shall testify regarding a licensed contractor’s workmanship at Board hearings, as necessary or required by the Board, in accordance with Uniform Administrative Procedures Act (“UAPA”), A.5. The Contractor shall maintain the proper certifications required to perform services under this Contract for the duration of this Contract. A.6. The Contractor shall not conduct inspections on any construction work performed by his or her immediate family. A.7. The Contractor shall sign and submit a Disclosure of Interest statement to the Board (Attachment A hereto).
