Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Develop and produce a site plan acceptable to the City (i.e., subject to City’s approval), and perform all necessary site preparation activities associated therewith. 2. Provide and properly install new / unused playground equipment, structures, related accessories, and accoutrements, including GameTime brand Vista Adventure Course 4, Vista Sky Tower 9, Merry-go-all, or acceptable equals, six swings, and four benches, as further described below. 3. Ensure that all installed playground equipment, accessories, and accoutrements meet or exceed all applicable Codes and standards, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and that all Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) is installed upon properly prepared site and compacted to a minimum depth of twelve inches (12”). EWF must comply with all applicable American Society for Testing and Materials (ATSM) standards. 4. Provide and install high quality products to assure that the playground will be as efficiently sustainable as possible for the foreseeable future. 5. Perform necessary follow-up adjustments, treatments and/or finishing/re-finishing activities as determined to be needed by the City’s Park Manager. A Post-work inspection jointly attended by the City’s designated representative(s) and the awarded bidder’s designated representative(s) shall be conducted within one week of work completion to assure the City’s satisfaction with all work performed, quality of product(s) and respective installations, which shall serve as the City’s final acceptance. Any deficiencies, however, shall be noted by the parties, and shall be understood to suspend the City’s final acceptance unless and until remedied to the City’s satisfaction.
