Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is seeking a consultant or team of consultants (Consultant) to provide community engagement support for a long-range planning project to produce a Community Plan for the River Terrace 2.0 area. Consultant will be part of a team consisting of the Planning Consultant Project Manager (Planning PM) and the City Project Manager (City PM) and will support the creation of a Community Plan that will refine and operationalize the vision presented in the River Terrace 2.0 Concept Plan (2020). Consultant will work with diverse group of stakeholders to inform and advise on the preparation of a range of Plan elements, including but not limited to: adoption-ready amendments to the City’s adopted Comprehensive Plan and any related ancillary documents, infrastructure system plans, development code amendments, zoning and comprehensive plan maps, a finance plan, and policy recommendations report related to climate, housing, and transportation. Respondents to this Request for Professional Qualifications (Proposers) should carefully consider each of the tasks and deliverables outlined in this Request for Proposals but also all the required elements, tasks, and deliverables in the Request for Proposals for the Community Plan, published separately but on the same day.
