Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Snow will be removed from the site or will be placed in a location designated by Metro. Snow removal equipment and workforce to meet the requirements within this Scope of Work will be provided by the Contractor(s). 2. Ice melt and sand will be provided by Contractor as necessary. Only Metro approved material may be used. Safety data sheets must be provided to Metro for approval. 3. Locations include North Omaha Transit Center, WestRoads Transit Center, Aksarben Transit Center, sixty-seven (67) Metro bus shelters and twenty-six (26) ORBT Stations. Metro reserves the right to add or reduce shelters for the length of this contract. Specific locations and maps are included in Technical Specifications (attached in this Invitation for Bid). 4. Snow removal and ice management services include up to and around Metro bike loops, Metro trash cans, and Metro benches (this does not include advertising benches provided by a third party). The Contractor will provide shoveling as necessary to create safe and clear access to bus services, personnel doorways, walking paths, sidewalks, overhead doors, drainage grates, fire hydrants, and access to bus shelters as necessary. Snow will be removed from the interior of all bus shelters to provide safe and secure passenger waiting areas. In addition, the Contractor shall have adequate means to apply ice melt products on paths and walkways as necessary at each location. 5. At no point shall the contract create conditions during ice or snow removal that cause water to dam or pond at any location. When the Contractor becomes aware of such a situation, the contractor, at no additional cost to Metro, shall correct any ponding issues with any necessary equipment or personnel.
