Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant/firm shall provide the following services: 1. Assessment and Inventory of Asset: • Conduct a comprehensive inventory of all streets and roadways within the city limits. • Identify and document key attributes for each street, including street type, dimensions, surface type, and street addresses. • Utilize GIS technology to update and maintain a centralized database for the city's street inventory. 2. Street Condition Assessment: • Develop a systematic process for assessing the condition of streets, considering factors such as pavement distress, road safety, and traffic load. • Conduct street condition surveys utilizing state-of-the-art surveying equipment and geotechnical assessment methods such as boring samples. 3. Data Analysis and Prioritization of Repair Treatment Suggestions: • Generate a comprehensive database of street conditions, including distress data, safety assessments, and photographs where necessary. • Prioritize and categorize streets and infrastructure in need of attention over the next twenty years by five-year increments • Provide all necessary documentation in a format which enables management of roadwork completed in the future. • Ensure the knowledge transfer for the sustainable use of the analysis tools.
