Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Site Excavation o Layout the area to be converted to artificial turf measuring approximately 7,200 square feet. Undercut to a depth of approximately 6” and prepare sub-grade. Grade and compact sub-grade to +/- ½” of desired elevations and prepare for rock installation. • Nailer o Install approximately 400 linear feet of 2x2” composite nailer board around the perimeter of the turf area. • Stone o Provide and install filter fabric on finished sub-grade prior to stone installation. Install 5” of finish stone and grade and compact to +/- ½” of desired finish grade elevations. o Rock to be provided by SCS. Contractor is required to provide an estimated tonnage of required stone. • Turf o Provide and install 7,200 square feet of turf. Infill with 2lbs per square foot of silica sand and groom surface. Seams to be glued and edges to be fastened every 1ft. at perimeter nailer board. o Nutmeg Lush XM turf Height: 1 5/8” Weight: 89 oz. Install seed and straw matting around the perimeter of the project area.
