Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services must be performed monthly (between May and October of 2024) for a quantity of six (6) mowings. . Contractor shall provide mowing services in all areas listed below and verify all measurements: 4.1.1.2.1. Range 16 – Approximately 27.5 Acres 4.1.1.2.2. Range 10 – Approximately 8.2 Acres 4.1.1.2.3. Range 18 – Approximately 1.7 Acres 4.1.1.2.4. Range 6 – Approximately 1.7 Acres; Vendors should note that this is NOT standard lawn mowing; the training range terrain can be rough and rocky with extreme slopes and wet areas. It is important that Vendor’s survey the area at the mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and make note of equipment needed to complete the task. Vendors should note Range 6 is a live fire demolition range. The West Virginia Army National Guard does everything possible to ensure that there is no unexploded debris on site; however, there is always the possibility of Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) in and around the pit area. The awarded Contractor should pay close attention in this area. Should the Contractor see anything suspicious or any object they can’t identify, they should leave the area and contact the Project Manager immediately. Contractor shall supply all tools, tool accessories, personal safety equipment, supplies, and materials necessary to execute the responsibilities of this contract. Contract Services Deliverable # 2 – Trimming Services - In addition to mowing the open areas, Vendor shall provide trimming with each monthly service around all obstacles, targets, buildings, fences, and all other structures contained within the range site.
