Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Scott County Environmental Services Department is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified vendors for the development and implementation of an online licensing and payment solution for hazardous waste, solid waste management system and for the collection of hazardous waste from Very Small Businesses Generators (VSQGs). This initiative aligns with the department's commitment to modernizing its processes, improving public access to essential services, and ensuring stringent compliance with evolving environmental regulations. The goal of this project is to create a user-friendly, efficient, and secure platform that allows businesses and the public to apply for, make payment, and renew solid waste and hazardous waste licenses online and an application method for small businesses to schedule and pay to bring hazardous waste to the County (VSQG collection program). The project is a direct response to the Scott County Strategic Plan's core principle of leveraging technology for innovation and improving service quality. This RFP outlines the project's objectives, scope of work, requirements, and evaluation criteria.
