Specifications include, but are not limited to: For transportation of New Fairfield students to three (3) schools: New Fairfield High School (NFHS), New Fairfield Middle School NFMS) and Meeting House Hill/Consolidated Elementary School (MHHS/CONS). It will also include transportation for the vocational students to a central point within New Fairfield. (These students then ride a designated bus to Henry Abbott Technical School in Danbury, CT. In the afternoon there is a skeleton run within town.) It will also include transportation for up to one bus or van of approximately 18 students attending the Magnet School, grades K-5 in Danbury, CT. It will also include transportation of less than 10 students to the Shepaug Valley Regional Agriscience School in Washington, CT. It will also include transportation for Sherman High School students to New Fairfield High School. The Sherman students are picked up at a central location, with a few stops along the way. They are dropped at the central location with a few extra stops a short distance away.
