Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Align growth regulations with the Strategic Plan of the City and maintain consistent regulation throughout the Zoning Title and throughout the Municipal Code. 2. Ensure organizational efficiency, allowing lay members of the public to comprehend the document without requiring legal expertise. 3. Ensure compliance with all relevant State, Federal, and local codes and Ordinances, including recent land use legislation enacted by the Utah Legislature. 4. Develop current zoning Ordinances that strike a balance between City regulatory oversight and private property entitlements, enabling residents, business owners and visitors to live, conduct commerce and recreate in a manner that is consistent with strategic goals, enforceability and safeguards the public health, safety, and welfare. 5. Public Involvement in the Process. Implement a public engagement process for the Zoning Title Update in line with the City Council's objectives, ensuring ample opportunities for public participation and feedback on the Zoning Title Update.
