Shall be constructed of 5/8” thick particleboard with average density of 45 P.C.F. ii. Shall have a ½” corner radius. iii. Laminate shall meet or exceed NEMA standards iv. A .028” phenolic backer shall be bonded to the bottom of the table core for stability/moisture resistance. v. Total table top thickness shall be .808” +/- .004”. vi. Shall be secured to frame with #10 x 5/8” screws, 9” on centers. • FRAME i. Shall use 14-gauge 1” and 1-1/4” steel tubing. ii. Lock plates shall be 7-gauge steel, laser cut to exact tolerances. iii. Low profile 2” high, 14-gauge “C”-shaped aprons to provide maximum top clearance. iv. Grade 5 hex machine bolts with aircraft type lock nuts shall be used at all assembly points. • UNDERCARRIAGE i. All critical parts at the pivot points shall be attached to the unitized steel frame. ii. Steel latches shall be automatic in both the storage and in-use positions and are located in such a way that they cannot be accidentally opened or knocked out of adjustment. iii. Torsion springs in conjunction with torsion bars shall provide easy lifting throughout the complete operating range. iv. Torsion bars shall be epoxy “e-coated” to prevent rusting and extend usable life. v. Torsion bars shall have machined grooves at each end, which receive e-clips to lock them in position and prevent lateral movement. • CASTERS i. Table shall roll on four (4) 4” x 1-1/4” wide Poly II gray rubber, non-marking, ball-bearing swivel casters. • STOOLS i. Shall be molded from high-impact polypropylene and are 13” quadrangular shape. ii. Shall be mounted directly on a 6” square 11-gauge steel plate. iii. Seat columns shall contact floor directly with rubber cushioned with a molded in-steel washer, non-skid, non-marring end cap. • STORAGE i. One table in the stored position shall occupy an area of 42.5” wide x 58” long.
