Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Petrifilm is a single-use plating card with dry, rehydratable media. 2. These cards are used in a rapid laboratory method to perform a Standard Plat Count and Coliform Count in Dairy Products. 3. A Dairy Food Sample is plated directly onto the card, incubated, and then bacterial colonies are counted as a hygiene and safety indicator of perishable dairy products. 4. Items Requested: o 3M Petrifilm 6415 High Sensitivity Coliform County Plat, 500/case – approximately 5 cases per year. o 3M Petrifilm 6406 Aerobic Count Plates, 100/case -approximately 9 cases per year. 5. The ensuing contract from this bid event will be for 5 years from the date of award through December 31, 2028. There will be no renewals offered.
