Specifications include, but are not limited to: AWAIC is soliciting quotes from General Contractors to furnish, install and perform all Work necessary for the removal and replacement of all interior finishes noted in the drawings for the 2 nd floor and stair wells only (the 1st floor scope of work was completed in 2022). This shall include, but is not limited to, demolition of existing finishes, new flooring, cabinetry & countertops, painting/staining, caulking, tile work, bath accessories, and window coverings per the attached drawings included in this RFQ. Work will also include the removal and reinstallation of existing plumbing fixtures, appliances, and electrical trim as necessary. The contractor is to include a $500.00 allowance for the replacement of misc. plumbing fixtures and equipment. The contractor is responsible for relocating all furniture as needed to complete the scope of work set forth in the bid documents. All furniture must be protected from construction debris and/or damage during construction. All furniture is to be reset in the original location after work is complete. Alternate #1 is removed from the project.
