Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractors must meet the following requirements: digitize according to best practices and standards as established by the Federal Agencies Digital Guidelines Initiative (FADGI), and provide policy documentation regarding same; be knowledgeable in care and handling of special collections materials; facilitate pickup and delivery of archival materials; provide policy documentation regarding care and handling of materials with personal identifiable information (PII); provide proper security of materials on loan for the duration of the project; provide digitization at archival specifications for at least one of the following formats: Audio materials, including but not limited to: Audiocassettes; Reel-to-reel magnetic tape; Gray Audographs; Microcassettes; Video materials, including but not limited to: Videocassette; Betamax; U-matic; 16mm and 8mm film; Oversized materials such as: Maps; Ledgers; Ephemera; Original documents and government records; Photograph negatives such as: Nitrate; Acetate; Glass plates; Photographic Prints; Bound materials
