Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Remove fence to access court with equipment 2. Remove existing net posts and footings a. Posts and nets are property of City of Burlington Parks Department 3. Fill and compact area of footing removal with CA-6 - (3/4” modified road mix with fines or equivalent) 4. Blow out and clean cracks, clean and prep existing surface. 5. Clean existing asphalt surface and apply tack coat 6. Furnish and install two Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay Lifts. Apply initial leveling course to correct any imperfections over entire court area followed by 1 ½ inch final surface course over entire court area. a. Mix is standard ½ inch Iowa DOT Mix with standard binder. b. Get as close to possible along the fence as equipment allows c. Edges are to be hand tamped and beveled such that the asphalt edge does not butt up against the fence. 7. Reinstall Fencing 8. Any damage to existing facilities resulting from the performance of this contract shall be repaired to the City of Burlington’s satisfaction at the Contractor’s expense.
