Specifications include, but are not limited to: Working closely with the State and stakeholders, the successful proposer shall provide ID/DD related analysis and recommendations on: revisions to the statutory definitions of Intellectual Disability and Developmental Disability; relevant program redesignations or modifications as a result of revised statutory definitions; qualifying criteria for services; other states’ best practices for providing ID/DD-related services; and level-of-need assessment tool models. The successful proposer shall be required to solicit input from stakeholder state agencies including the Office of Policy and Management, and the Connecticut Departments of Education, Social Services, Developmental Services, Aging and Disability Services and Public Health. The successful proposer shall be required to solicit input from individual or organization stakeholders with lived experience including but not limited to, the Council on Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder Advisory Council, persons with intellectual and or developmental disabilities, their families, and caregivers when developing recommendations
