Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor’s administrative services will include: a. Creating and reviewing participant applications, preparing application packets and related materials. • Application packets will include demographic information, language requirements and technology or internet needs, or other materials needed for application packets, as identified by Contractor, and approved by the Agency. • Application packets will also include information for applicants to apply for a childcare stipend during the sessions. Agency and Contractor will work to develop the criteria for the childcare stipend. • A total of 48 participants will be accepted into the Partners in Policymaking sessions. b. Scheduling and organizing six virtual and in-person sessions for two Cohorts of 24 participants. The two Cohorts will run concurrently. • One Cohort will be presented in Spanish, and one Cohort will be presented in English. Interpretation supports must be made available for both Cohorts. o Contractor shall ensure the moderator and majority of presenters are Spanish speaking during the Spanish speaking session, with attention to creating a culturally relevant, inclusive atmosphere for all participants. • Each of the six virtual Cohort sessions will be held on Saturday and Sunday and will run for four hours per day, including breaks. • Cohort sessions will occur every two or three weeks. c. Finding and scheduling presenters, for each session upon Agency approval. The two Cohorts may have different presenters and curriculum will be adjusted to support the selected presenter. d. All local and national presenters and participants will reflect racially, linguistically, culturally, economically, and geographically diverse identities, voice, and experiences from within the developmental disability community. e. Creating session materials including agendas, licensed multimedia elements, homework assignments, certificates of completion, evaluations, and graduation ceremony materials. • Licensed multimedia elements must include videos, or other multimedia elements as identified by the Contractor, and approved by the Agency. The licensed multimedia elements will include representation from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Contractor will coordinate and provide technical assistance for each session. • Homework assignments may include reading materials, researching online, or questions to answer, or other activities as identified by Contractor, and approved by the Agency. • Presenters may also have their own licensed multimedia elements that the Contractor needs to coordinate for presentation within each session. • Presenters may also have their own handouts that the Contractor needs to make Accessible for all participants.
