The PO will also include installation and initial operator training.Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ) mission is to be a leader in restoring,maintaining, and enhancing the quality of Oregon's air, land and water. The DEQ Laboratory andEnvironmental Assessment Division (LEAD) works to keep Oregon’s air and waters safe and healthyby collecting, analyzing, and reporting environmental samples. DEQ’s LEAD provides criticalinformation for understanding how well these goals are being met, for identifying emerging air andwater quality concerns, planning permit limits, assessing compliance with environmental regulations,developing effective pollution reduction strategies, and understanding trends in air and water qualitystatewide.
