Specifications include, but are not limited to: The dredging contractor will be required to perform rough grading and installation of riprap shown on the “Forebay Restoration Plan” and provide the restoration contractor with a site prepared for finish grade and planting operations by the restoration contractor. The restoration contractor and dredging contractor will be required to coordinate access to the site, planting schedule, and control of water level in the forebay during restoration operations and throughout establishment of the plantings. After the dredging project has been accepted by the Owner, the restoration contractor will be required to coordinate control of water level in the forebay with the Owner for warranty and maintenance of plantings for the warranty period. Restoration Planting Materials include, but are not limited to: • Native Seed • Vegetative Mulch • Wood Cellusose Fiber Mulch • Tree / Shrub deep cell plugs • Fertilizer • Mycorrhizal Inoculant • Herbicide • Plant Shelter • Topsoil (to be identified from on-site sources) • Rolled Erosion Control Products; Restoration Operations include, but are not limited to: • Soil Preparation • Finish Grading and Tilling • Placement of topsoil, where neccessary • Heribicide Application • Application of soil inoculant • Application of fertilizer • Installation of rolled erosion control products • Seeding • Wetland Planting Plug installation • Containerized Planting installation • Bare Root Plantings • Branch Cutting Plantings • Tree Plantings • Mulching • Site protection of planted areas from traffic • Watering • Maintenance / Weed control • Creating an as-built planting plan illustrating the final species and quantity of plants installed in the wetland forebay.
