Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed equipment should: a. Fit and operate in a maximum 9.5 x 16 ft floor space. b. Capture all helium from normal boil-off and helium fills on 4 NMR magnets (Bruker Ascend 800, Bruker Ultrashield 700, Bruker Ultrashield 400, and Bruker Asced 500). Typical fill on the largest magnet is 150L in ~1 hour. c. Include a cold head based automatic helium purification system that purifies helium to better than 99.9995% purity, 30 liter per minute or greater capacity, with fully automated regeneration. d. Use water cooled compressors for the cold heads e. Fully automated helium liquefaction with a 25 liter/day helium liquefaction rate. f. Liquefier must be readily movable and fit through standard doorways. g. Include drier to remove moisture from recovered helium gas. Proposer should provide: h. Minimum 1 year warranty on all components. i. Set-up of equipment in OSU space by connecting all components and testing equipment to ensure it is working properly. j. Training to OSU facilities staff on the operation and maintenance of system. k. General tech support during warranty period.
