Specifications include, but are not limited to: • One (1) histology cassette printer with the following capabilities and/or equipment accessories: o Equipment must be new, not refurbished. o Able to print on routine (slotted) as well as microbiopsy (Mesh) cassettes. o Prints in black ink at least 300 DPI, and is resistant to Alcohol, Formalin and Xylene. o Resin Thermal transfer Ink that ensures printing is not compromised during processing of the tissue and dewaxing. o Replaceable ribbon cartridge with 1,000 to 4,000 print quantity. o Print times of under 10 seconds per cassette. o Compact size for ease of movement to allow for use either on or close to the grossing station. o Self-contained unit with built in scanner and labeling software. Does not require the use of a LIS system. o Cassette hopper size of at least 40 with the option to manual feed single cassettes. o Connectivity to device via USB, ethernet and/or WiFi. o Power requirements of 100-240 VAC. o Include warranty information in your submissions.
