Underbody Clearance - The vehicle shall have the following minimum clearance dimensions at GVWR, as defined in SAE Standard J689. Ground Clearance. Overall vehicle ground clearance and axle/wheel zone ground clearance shall be maximized and adequate to enable the vehicle to operate in normal transit service in the environmental climatic, and street and roadway conditions prevailing throughout the Nashville Metropolitan Area. Vehicles are to have running boards installed below the driver’s door.
