Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Snow Plowing: This will include plowing all driveways and empty parking spaces with a width of 2 cars or wider. Snow to be pushed to one of the designated storage areas. Operator will assure that when snowplowing is complete there are no berms greater than 6” of snow obstructing driveways or parking areas. This includes parked vehicles. Contractor will be expected to plow the driveways and parking lots at locations on any day of the week, including weekends, when there is at least one inch accumulation of snow. This is expected to be completed at both locations before 8 am. 2. Sanding: Crushed rock to be spread only at the request of AHFC. Crushed rock to be supplied by the Contractor and spread as evenly as possible to cover driveways and vacant parking spaces. Operator will spread the crushed rock as close to occupied driveways and vacant parking spaces as possible, when crushed rock is requested, it should be spread to assure a non-slip surface. The crushed rock is to be ¼ inch in size or smaller. Trip tickets for the crushed rock to be submitted with monthly statements. Work shall normally be performed between the hours of 5:30am and 7:30pm. Snow conditions may require work to be performed on an “as requested” basis. 3. Prescheduled Cleanout: The contractor will be notified at least twenty four (24) hours in advance to remove snow from parking lot. At which time resident’s vehicles will be vacated from parking spaces and driveways to allow the contractor to finish plowing all parking areas. 4. Maneuvering: Contractor will be expected to maneuver around vehicles that are parked in driveways unless there is a pre-scheduled, parking space snowplowing that will require residents to move their vehicles from the parking lot. 5. Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to become familiar with the grounds, facilities, and the specifications prior to commencement of the work. Contractor will be responsible for all damages resulting from operator negligence.
