Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from Racing Medication and Testing Consortium (RMTC) Certified Laboratories to perform blood and urine testing submitted from the horse racetrack licensed by the Commission. The Laboratory will perform such tests and analyses of the samples as needed to ascertain whether they contain amounts of foreign substances prohibited by the Commission. The majority of testing will be for quarter horses, but may include some thoroughbreds. The Agency intends to award a Contract(s) for the initial period identified on the RFP cover sheet, and the Agency, in its sole discretion, may extend the Contract(s) for up to the number of annual extensions identified on the RFP cover sheet.
