Specifications include, but are not limited to: City of Torrington (COT) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a turn-key asbestos abatement and removal of existing floor tile and mastic in the 2,400 main office area. • A quote on the removal of the asbestos floor tile and mastic broken out into two phases. o Phase one – abatement and removal of approximately 900 square foot office space. o Phase two - abatement and removal of approximately 1,500 square foot office space. • Approximately one week pause in work between phase one and phase two. o Office staff will move furniture during the weeklong gap from larger space to smaller space. • Building must remain open and in-use during construction. o Vendor to block and seal off work area in a safe manner to building staff to not disrupt normal business operations. • Vendor to dispose of all material in accordance with federal and state law and code. Use of COT dumpster is prohibited.
