Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Develop a captivating and creative lighting design plan that aligns with the recommendations of the Main Street Urban Streetscape and Lighting Study. B. Ensure the seamless installation and integration of pole mounted fixtures for projection/ image mapping and remote-controlled catenary festival lights, offering multiple color options and programming features along the designated 0.33-mile stretch of Main Street. C. Prioritize safety throughout the design and installation phases, ensuring that the lighting installation does not compromise the well-being of pedestrians, motorists, and the surrounding community. D. Collaborate with Rocky Mountain Power and the Midvale City Public Works Department to coordinate the installation of light supporting elements, lighting control boxes, and necessary electrical infrastructure improvements. E. Develop a detailed cost estimate and project plan that aligns with the available funding of $387,700, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective implementation of the Project. F. Execute the design and construction process within the stipulated timeline to ensure completion of the Project by March 22, 2024. Time is of the essence. The grant providing part of the funding for the Project requires that all funds for the Project must be expended prior to March 31, 2024. G. Propose lighting solutions that are durable, long-lasting, and require minimal maintenance, reducing future operational costs and ensuring the longevity of the festival lights on Main Street. H. Provide maintenance and support after Project completion. I. Maximize the Project budget to expand, improve, and complete the scope of work.
