Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Conducting SER according to the latest Hydraulic Engineering Circulars. 2. Preparing construction plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for various bridge related projects in accordance with State Highways and Federal Highway procedures and requirements. This would include complete PS&E packages as well as providing plans, specifications and estimate as part of an in-house design project and may include post-design services. 3. Conducting field investigations to determine information needed for National Bridge Inventory Item 113 rating. These may include Underwater investigations and Non-Destructive testing. 4. Obtaining applicable permits such as Section 404 Department of Army Permits and Section 401 Water Quality Certifications. 5. Providing support or obtaining clearances such as Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act, and Magnuson Stevens Fishery and Conservation Management Act. This will require biologists, historic resource specialists, and other environmental subcontractors. 6. Providing Geotechnical and Structural design and analysis services. 7. Development of a Scour Critical Bridge Plan of Action and other scour related engineering services as determined by HDOT. 8. Coordinating all activities with HDOT and attending all project coordination meetings concerning the work required under the Project Assignments. 9. Coordinating all work with applicable government agencies and utility companies. 10. Providing topographical surveying services. 11. Providing bridge monitoring services including installation and use of electronic monitoring devices as applicable for Scour Critical Bridges.
