Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Hearing Officer shall conduct administrative hearings in accordance with the provisions of KRS Chapter 13B and other applicable state and federal laws, including but not limited to: a.--The appeal of a denial, reduction or discontinuance of disability benefits as provided in KRS Chapters 16, 61 and 78, b.--The appeal of final agency determinations affecting benefits as provided in KRS Chapters 16, 61, and 78, and; c.--The appeal of final agency determinations affecting participating employers as provided in KRS Chapters 16, 61, and 78. The Hearing Officer will be required to conduct telephonic conferences, conduct hearings, issue procedural orders and issue recommended orders with findings of fact and conclusions of law. The Hearing Officer shall not represent clients before the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority while this agreement is in effect.
